I've been home with the people this summer am so grateful for the opportunity. I also am grateful when the husband comes home, and I can hit the road for a walk and some much needed quiet and decompressing.

.

For the extra fitness I've been wearing a weighted vest and ankle weights that sort of resemble a house arrest anklet (although thankfully knock on wood never seem one in person but it's how I imagine they look).

.

I can feel the effects of both of them gradually but come the last ten minutes and headed uphill my legs feel pretty heavy and I'm ready to be home.

.

As I enter the driveway sweating, grateful for the time away, and pretty worn out I take off all the extra poundage.

.

I begin to walk inside only to be quite in awe of how much lighter I feel. Setting down the excess weight I'd convinced myself to carry, I feel airy, peaceful, calm, and happy to not walk around with the shackles forever.
